How to start it
Flip the red fighter-jet cover up on the center console and stab the start button beneath it. The V10 cracks (Revuelto fires in EV Citta first; toggle to Strada to wake the engine).

Practical guide for everything a new owner asks on day one — starting the car, gear selector, drive modes, infotainment, driver aids, and easy-to-miss features.

Pull the right column paddle to engage 1st, the left paddle to downshift; reverse is a separate console toggle (Revuelto/Temerario) — no shift lever exists in the cabin.
Drive modes are accessed via the ANIMA selector on the steering wheel. Available modes typically include Strada, Sport, Corsa, Citta (PHEV), Recharge (PHEV). Each mode reshuffles throttle mapping, steering weight, adaptive dampers (if equipped), exhaust valves, and stability-control thresholds. On performance trims, an 'Individual' or 'Custom' slot lets you save your favorite combination so you can recall it with one click instead of nesting through menus.
The driver display is a Fully digital TFT cluster (rotates layout per drive mode). Use the steering-wheel left thumb-pad to cycle layouts (Classic, Sport, Navigation, Minimal). When in Sport / Track mode the cluster automatically swaps to a wide tach with gear indicator and tire-temperature readout. The head-up display brightness, height, and content are configured from Settings → Displays → HUD.
Infotainment runs on Sensonum + Lamborghini HMI (Android-Auto based on new cars). Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard; pair from Settings → Connections the first time, then it auto-connects whenever your phone is in range. Steering-wheel push-to-talk wakes the in-car assistant for nav, climate, calls, and messaging without touching the screen. The main display also hosts vehicle-specific apps: tire pressures, performance data recorder (where fitted), drive-mode customizer, and the camera views.
Standard driver aids include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Toggle each system individually from the driver-assist menu (steering-wheel left-pad → Assistance). Highway-driving assist (hands-off in marked lanes on supported roads), automatic lane-change on indicator tap, traffic-jam assist for stop-and-go, and a 360° surround camera with transparent-hood mode are all available and worth enabling for the first time before driving in heavy traffic.
Premium unleaded (91 or 93 octane) is required on Lamborghini performance models — the engine timing is set for it and lower octane causes audible knock and reduced power. Fuel-cap release is a button on the driver door panel; the cap is capless (just push the nozzle in).
Beyond the physical key, this car supports Smart key with proximity unlock. Set up phone-as-key from the Lamborghini UNICA app: it provisions a secure credential to your phone's wallet so a tap on the door handle unlocks the car and placing the phone on the wireless charging pad authorizes ignition. You can also share temporary keys to family members (with optional speed and area limits on performance trims) directly from the app.
A few things every new owner tells us they wish they'd known on day one:
Without verified trim specs we use the universal long-life schedule — works for virtually any modern road car. Cross-check against your owner's manual for engine-specific items.
| Interval | Task | Why it matters | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly | Cold tire pressure check | Set to door-jamb spec when tires are cold. Underinflation kills sidewalls and fuel/range economy; overinflation reduces grip. | High |
| Weekly | Visual walk-around | Check for fluid spots on the ground, tire condition, light operation, and any new noises before driving off. | Recommended |
| Monthly | Fluid level audit | Open the hood: check engine oil (where dipstick exists), coolant overflow level, brake fluid, washer fluid, power steering (if hydraulic). | High |
| Monthly | Wash + interior vacuum | Salt, road tar and bird droppings etch paint and clearcoat. Use pH-neutral car shampoo, two-bucket method. | Recommended |
| Every 6 months | Wax / ceramic top-up | Paint protection prevents oxidation. Spray-on ceramic boosters extend a base coat for 6–9 months. | Recommended |
| Every 12 months | Wiper blades + washer fluid | Replace both blades; switch to winter blades + de-icer fluid in cold climates. | Recommended |
| Every 12 months | 12V auxiliary battery test | Load-test the 12V battery — even EVs have one, and a weak 12V causes the most no-starts on modern cars. | High |
| Every 24 months | Brake fluid moisture test | Test with a refractometer or strips. >2% water content = flush. Hygroscopic fluid corrodes ABS modulators. | Critical |
| Every 24 months | Alignment check | Even a curb hit can throw alignment off. Mis-alignment burns through $1k+ tire sets quickly. | High |
| Every 7,500 mi / 12 months | Full-synthetic oil + filter | OEM-spec viscosity and filter. | Critical |
| Every 30,000 mi | Transmission fluid service | Honor TIME not just mileage; 'lifetime' is marketing. | High |
| Every 60,000 mi | Coolant flush + spark plugs | Use OEM-spec coolant only. | High |
| Every 100,000 mi | Timing belt (if equipped) + water pump | Non-negotiable on interference designs. | Critical |
